Overview

The Regional Control Towers Manager is accountable for the regional development of customer operational excellence for the programs. This role will be responsible for providing oversight of the regional support for the various verticals, Tech, Industrial, Automotive & Retail from an operational perspective. The Regional Control Towers Manager will also develop the proper document for the respective regional , Work Instructions. Supporting the regional standardization of all supporting functions and processes. The The Regional Control Towers Manager will support Airfreight, Ocean Freight, Road Freight, CHB, Contract Logistics etc. In addition, this role will be an advisor to all country and regional profit and loss owners.

Responsibilities
    Manage all regional operational processes and governance controls to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Retain and strength customer relationships through developing proper solutions to support existing and new potential customer business
  • Identify, eliminate, and escalate revenue leakage to appointed key contacts within a business unit
  • Responsible for driving process & productivity improvements across the globe by leveraging systems and process automation to
  • Exhibit and display a sound understanding in order to monitor key KPI's to ensure compliance with all critical deadlines and processes
  • Liaison with key regional group related to all services requirements and or challenges
  • Support logistics solutions at the highest level of Customer Experience
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in key areas of service and growth for the country and regional owners
  • Exhibits excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both externally and internally
  • Ability to train and develop a motivated and driven, high-performance team
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Operations, or Management Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 7+ years Freight forwarding air experience, ocean experience a plus Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of international air, ocean, road freight and customs brokerage processes (High proficiency)
  • Exhibits strong communication skills both oral and written to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and clients. (High proficiency)
  • Cargowise TMS experience, strongly preferred. (High proficiency)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (High proficiency)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment. (High proficiency)
  • AS400 SME ( preferred ) (Medium proficiency)
