Customer Service Administrator

Position Overview:
Responsible for all administrative aspects of the "Customer Support Improvement" program at El Paso, TX, focused on optimizing the RMA activity in service of our customer base. Works closely with Program Managers across various departments to meet program delivery goals. Maintains direct contact with customers and operations personnel to ensure positive relationships are maintained and customer expectations are met.

Nature of Duties:

  • Provides internal and external customer reporting based on program requirements, including frequent direct customer interface. Receives customer requests and prepares documents related to processing returns (RMA). Maintains related databases.
  • Records and reports the status of assigned account equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules. Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.
  • Responsible for all administrative aspects of the program.
  • Works closely with the Program Manager and with various departments to meet program delivery goals.
  • Maintains direct contact with customers and with operations personnel to ensure positive relationships are maintained and customer expectations are met.
  • Provides customer reporting.Uses metrics and organizational performance trend data to help senior staff members drive customer service change initiatives.
  • Receives customer requests and prepares documents related to processing returns (RMA).
  • Updates databases.
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.
  • Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication and analysis skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong can-do attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to generate standard and ad hoc reports upon request
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) a plus
  • Working knowledge of Oracle databases is highly desirable
  • 6+ years in related experience, customer service or program administration
  • 2 years experience in contract manufacturing work enviroment or working electronics retail
  • High School Diploma required, but a Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline desired
